Week 2 Results

Week 2 is now complete and we have already seen some very good kickball action so far from both veteran and new teams. Defense seems to be the name of the game so far this season. Either that or people haven't figured out how to kick the ball correctly yet.

Also Available in Sober and Saved By The Ball faced off in a game that had 2 veteran teams in new colors and with new names. I don't know much about what happened in this game. In fact I'm not even sure if I recorded the score correctly but I show it as 2-1 in favor of Also Available in Sober. Both teams made a strong showing at MacDinton's after the game and Wes and Mike did their thing on the karaoke stage.

Smack My Pitch Up had a hard time getting their guys to show up to the game last night and ended up only having 5 who made it to the game. They didn't let that stop them as they defeated Anything But Blue Balls 4-0. Some fool from Smack My Pitch Up kept sliding into bases, even when it wasn't necessary. Rumor has it that he is a little sore today. Anything But Blue Balls made an extremely impressive showing at MacDinton's as they had a small army of light blue shirts there.

Quite Yer Pitchin and Don't Touch Our Balls faced off in a game that is probably best described as Battle of the Nasties. A member of one team was quoted as saying, "wow those guys are bigger douchebags than we are". Come on guys, it's Kickball. It's all about taking it easy and having a good time. Don't Touch Our Balls ended up victorious by a 3-2 score.

Id Hit It Again may have picked the wrong night for their guys to wear dresses as they all seemed a little bit chilly last night. The Seminoles had an impressive 4-0 win. Less impressive was their attendance at MacDinton's after the game. Where they any gold t-shirts there at all?

The BA-52's had a very shaky first inning on defense and Suck My Kick was hoping to enforce the first mercy rule win in division history. Fortunately enough for the Texas Orange team, they were able to pull their defense together and hold Suck My Kick for the rest of the game. Unfortunately though, as the BA-52s know all too well, it only takes 2 and Suck My Kick was victorious 2-0.

Balls N Dolls showed that they are in it to win it this season and crushed All Banged Up 5-0. The bad news for Balls N Dolls is that they did all of their scoring in one inning but they want to be scoring all of the time. Meanwhile All Banged up has yet to score a run this season.

Overall it was a pretty impressive showing at MacDinton's after the games. It's becoming quite clear who the most fun and social teams are. Take a look at our new Poll asking which team (other than your own) is the most fun.
